This section is challenging. The trail continues from Vattgruvan between several minor, unprotected shafts. Larger shafts on the side of the trail are fenced in.
Beyond the plateau, and a marsh where the trail goes over footbridges, you pass the remains of the cottage Bajorstorp. After the junction with section 12:1 from Mölnbo the trail continues up and down on a rocky elevated route to Lake Trönsjön where there are several places to rest and bathe and good quality water. Around a kilometre further down, where the trail passes between the lakes Horssjöarna, is another suitable camping area west of the trail, and a shelter 250 metre to the east.
The trail continues through upland forest terrain before leading downhill toward the lakes Alsjöarna, which are protected. Walking along the steep shores is strenuous. There is a good resting place on a spit at the northern end of Lake Stora Alsjön.
The remainder of the section goes through rocky terrain and pleasant forest areas to a steep descent down to Yngsviken.
