Extended route, approx. 1 km
We recommend extending the route by continuing along section 54 to Lake Björken where sections 50:1/54 meet. On the shore of the lake is a singular rock of primary limestone with many weathered cup marks. Continue along the shore to the wind shelter, close to a spit of land, with a fireplace and fine rocks for bathing. The walk to and back from the wind shelter is approx. 1 km.

Extended route, approx. 2 km
From the wind shelter, the route continues along the water to a dam in Kvarnbäcken. Cross the stream and continue to the right along the gully and down to the parking area at Kvarnbäcken. From the parking area, carry on to the right across the stream. After approx. 150 m turn right, back onto the circular route (section 54) to the Månbackestugorna. When you reach the intersection 50:1/54, turn left onto section 50:1.

Easy to walk with fine places to bathe.
